Ebenezer United Protestant Church is an English-speaking Protestant congregation located at 111 Oranjestraat in Willemstad, Curaçao. It belongs to the United Protestant Church of Curaçao (Verenigde Protestantse Gemeente), a uniting body formed from the Dutch Reformed and Lutheran traditions.

Built in 1949 by English-speaking immigrants who worked at the island’s oil refinery, the Ebenezer Church became the home of the United Protestant Church’s English-language ministry. The congregation continues to reflect Curaçao’s cultural diversity, offering worship primarily in English with some elements in Papiamentu. 

Sunday services typically begin at 9:30 a.m. and last about ninety minutes. The worship style blends traditional Protestant liturgy with Caribbean warmth, often accompanied by music that reflects the island’s heritage. Attendees describe the church as welcoming and spiritually uplifting, with sermons that emphasize scripture and community life. 

Ebenezer United Protestant Church is one of three congregations of the United Protestant Church of Curaçao, alongside the Fortkerk and the Emmakerk. Together, these churches share ministers and administrative oversight through a central council while maintaining their own language and worship styles. 

The church’s ministry is led by Rev. Kenneth Kross, serving a membership that spans both locals and expatriates. Its mission emphasizes faith in Jesus Christ, fellowship among believers, and service to the broader Curaçao community.
