The church’s origins trace back to missionary efforts in Kingston Gardens during the 1960s, formally organizing as Havenhill Baptist Church in 1969. Its first pastor was Rev. Dale Loftis. Since 1976, Rev. Dr. Winston G. Smith has served as Senior Pastor, joined by Assistant Pastor Jason Anderson since 2008. Under their leadership, the congregation emphasizes scripture-centered teaching and “Every Member a Minister” as its guiding vision.
