The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Jamaica is the national branch of the international Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, based at Bushy Park, 25 Sugar Way, Old Harbour, Saint Catherine, Jamaica. Established in 2011, it serves as both a religious and community center under the administration of local representatives including Ouida Nesbeth-Dunn and Imam Tariq Azeem.
As part of the global Ahmadiyya movement founded by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Jama’at emphasizes the motto “Love for All, Hatred for None.” It organizes educational programs, public lectures, and humanitarian outreach promoting interfaith harmony and moral upliftment across Jamaica.
The group’s primary place of worship, the Mahdi Mosque, is located at the same address. The mosque hosts daily prayers, Friday congregations, and major Islamic observances such as Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. The facility includes areas for both men and women and functions as a hub for religious education and community gatherings.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Jamaica regularly holds public events like the Jalsa Salana (Annual Conference), Arabic and Islam courses, and charity drives for disaster relief and social welfare. These initiatives aim to build bridges of understanding within Jamaica’s multi-faith landscape.
Operating under the international Ahmadiyya administrative structure, the Jamaican branch maintains active links with the community’s headquarters in the United Kingdom and global mission offices. Its outreach focuses on education, peace advocacy, and the dissemination of Islamic teachings through publications and digital media.
