Centro Islámico de Puerto Rico – Masjid Río Piedras is one of the oldest and most established Islamic centers in Puerto Rico, serving as a religious, educational, and community hub for Muslims in San Juan and surrounding areas. Founded in 1981, it is recognized as the first mosque established on the island and has played an important role in supporting the growth of the local Muslim community. The mosque provides daily prayers, Friday Jumu'ah services, Quran study, Islamic education, and religious guidance for individuals and families. It also welcomes visitors interested in learning about Islam, encouraging interfaith dialogue and cultural understanding through educational programs and community outreach.
