The People’s Pentecostal Family Church is a Christian congregation located at the corner of Charles Avenue and Watty’s Lane in Goodwill, Roseau, Dominica. Founded in December 1960, it is affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies (PAWI) and is recognized as a vibrant center of worship, discipleship, and community outreach in the island’s capital.

The church began as a small Pentecostal fellowship and has grown into a prominent assembly within Dominica’s faith community. As a member of PAWI, it shares in the denomination’s regional mission of spreading the Gospel through evangelism and education. Over the decades, the congregation has produced leaders who have served as missionaries across the world.

The People’s Pentecostal Family Church emphasizes the “fivefold ministry” — apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers — and conducts a variety of services and outreach programs. Its evangelism efforts have led to the establishment of branch churches in the villages of Wotten Waven, Scotts Head, and Giraudel, expanding its spiritual influence beyond Roseau.

Guided by the vision “to be a gifted, highly equipped, family-oriented church transforming lives,” the congregation seeks to bring people into a relationship with Christ, disciple them, and equip them for ministry. It describes itself as “an oasis of blessings and love in a troubled world,” offering worship, counseling, family ceremonies, and youth development programs to the wider community.

The church is administered by a board comprising local leaders and volunteers. It reports an active membership of over 1,700 and hosts more than 12,000 services and gatherings, reflecting its significant local engagement.
