The Evangelistic Faith Church was officially established on November 3, 1968 and is located on the main road in The Alley, Sandy Point, St. Kitts/Nevis.

The church was founded by the late Reverend Miriam Powell-Huggins, a native of our sister island, Nevis along with 12 other founding members and their children, who together carried on the work of the church back then.

After Reverend Huggins passed in 1980, Pastor Samuel Hyligar, assisted by his wife Julia, accepted the baton to lead the flock.

In 1994, after the passing of his wife, Pastor Samuel Hyligar asked his youngest daughter, Prisca Hyligar to assist him in the work and later passed the baton of Pastoral Leadership to her. Pastor Prisca Hyligar has been pastoring for 27 years.

The Evangelistic Faith Church is an independent church with no local or foreign affiliation, however, it embraces, supports and works cordially with churches of like faith.

The Evangelistic Faith Church is a member of the Sandy Point Community Churches which is an assembly of 14 different churches from the Sandy Point community.
